ABOUT Our Forums
Advancing Equality at the ballot box across indian country
Four Directions, Inc.
partnered for several years with Native organizations and grassroots groups to strategize and mobilize Native voters.
the organization hosted two successful, first-of-their-kind Native American Presidential Candidate Forums.
These nonpartisan forums had participation by U.S. Presidential hopefuls that sat with Tribal leaders, Native youth, and Native advocates to discuss the issues that mean the most to Native voters. These conversations helped frame their political platforms on these issues and informed many of the policies the Biden Administration has taken on in the past four years.
Due to the success of these forums and partnerships
Four Directions has continued the effort in on and off-cycle election years to continue bridging the gap between policymakers and Native voters. Today, the forums continue and are hosted in key states and these spaces are pushing the needle on what is possible for true government-to-government relationships.
